Maxxclean, a Satellite customer in Europe, has launched a campaign which is aimed at creating a fresh new look for the portable restroom. Through a combination of savy marketing, sports team endorsements and targeted marketing, they have caught the attention of the industry. Earlier this month, they held opening ceremonies of their new corporate headquarters that featured a 2 story Maxim 3000 bouncing ride (pictured) which will be used later on at sporting events and special events. One more example of how Satellite customers continue to forge ahead with industry innovations.

What's Your Legacy?

We all hope that when our time comes to leave this world that we have made it a better place. Satellite's VP of HR Dale Van Vreede and his wife Marcia, recently traveled to Mexico to witness first hand one such opportunity. They have been involved with an organization called Friends of the Orphans for over 12 years where they sponsored a child at Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos in Cuernavaca. What they found was both surprising and very rewarding.
Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos was founded over 50 years ago by Fr William B Wasson with a mission. An education will take my children out of poverty into which they were born. From two locations in Ceurnavaca, over 800 children have a place to live, clothing, regular meals, safety and a chance to get an education. The education includes an accredited technical high school where the students can become certified in one of five different skill areas that alow them to get good jobs when they leave home. It is also possible for them to go on to the University of Mexico City.
What started as trying to improve the life of one boy who was caught stealing from the collection plate, has turned into an opportunity for some of the orphaned and abandoned children in Mexico to live a better life. Dale and Marcia cherish the opportunity to make such a difference in one boy's life.
