Graphics Attract Attention
Posted: November 10, 2009 - Put your name on this sharp MD1250 and it will turn heads all over town. It's a proven fact that bold vehicle graphics are a very effective way to advertise your business.
Besides turning heads, the MD1250 has significantly more capacity than the smaller MD950 at a price that is very reasonable.
This is a great time to buy if you want more visibility, increased hauling capacity and a truck without the added expense of next years 2010 emission controls.

More Truck For Your Money
Posted: November 4, 2009 - Satellite is offering a $2,000 discount on MD1250’s due to an overstock of tanks. The 1250 is worth considering over a 950 for a number of reasons.
Joshua Campbell, owner of Fresh and Clean in Missouri, just purchased a MD1250 and here is what he has to say about the purchase:
“Usually I purchase larger, more expensive trucks than the MD1250. But, after reviewing the information from Satellite I realized that between repairs and resale, I would save about $25,000. That was enough for me to decide to try an MD1250.
A few weeks ago the truck was delivered. I just wanted to thank you for the fast delivery. Of all the trucks I have purchased, and of the three that I have purchased from Satellite, I think I am more proud of this truck than any other.
I like the truck because it’s visually appealing and will promote the company in our most publicly visible areas. Second, it is well designed. Now that I have it in service, I feel as if I have a strong cornerstone on which I can continue to build my company. The truck is working great, and the technician who is operating it really likes all the features.”
Like Josh, you will find that the MD1250 is a great fit for your business. First, you are not overloading the chassis at any time on the 1250. By being slightly oversized you can expect your truck to last longer and have fewer problems over the life of the truck. Second, the added capacity allows for more flexibility when route planning. If you have fewer trips to the dump site, your will be ahead of the game.
The other reason to buy now is to avoid buying 2010 truck models. New emission laws are causing dramatic changes to truck engine designs that the buyer will have to pay for. Kenworth, International and the other engine manufacturers are predicting $4,000 to $9,000 price increases to cover the cost of new equipment. In addition, most engines will require Diesel Engine Fluid (DEF) to operate. The cost of the fluid has not been determined, but initial estimates are about $4.50 per gallon.
As for the features of the MD1250, its tank is designed for the International 4300 and Ford F650 chassis at 25,500 lbs. GVW or larger. The 850-waste / 400-fresh tank can handle most routes. Standard features include: 3” waste outlet valve, left side service, 2” fresh water outlet valve, sight glasses, hose bracket, strap tie-down brackets, bumper hitch, rear mud-flaps, wand holster, unique baffle design, keyed locking cabinets, complies with DOT safety requirements.
It may seem too soon to buy a truck, but it will save you a lot of money.
