VISION IN MOTION
SATELLITE TRUCK MANUFACTURING FACILITY
DAHLONEGA, GA
Excitement continues to grow at our new Truck Manufacturing facility in Dahlonega, GA, spanning an impressive 172,000 square feet. With the roof now in place after last month’s wall installation, the building is fully enclosed ushering in a new phase of development. Inside, the rhythm of progress is unmistakable: electrical systems are being installed, lighting and power infrastructure is taking shape, and groundwork is being laid for HVAC, compressed air, and water lines.
Beyond the walls, utility crews are hard at work completing sewer, stormwater, and electrical connections. This facility is more than just an expansion—it is a strategic investment in Satellite’s future, designed to elevate truck production efficiency and scale. Interior framing is defining the layout of workspaces and equipment zones, while preparations for overhead cranes and advanced machinery are underway. Sheetrock is going up, giving form to the vision.
September will bring further transformation: asphalt will be laid, roads will be widened and graded, and traffic control systems will be installed. Landscaping and fine grading will follow, completing the exterior environment. With each step, we move closer to opening a cutting-edge manufacturing hub that will fuel growth and opportunity in North Georgia.
Progress continues at our new 172,000-square-foot Truck Manufacturing facility in Dahlonega, GA. After the walls went up last month, the roof has now been completed—officially enclosing the structure and allowing interior work to accelerate. Electrical wiring has begun, with rough-ins for lighting and power underway throughout the production floor and administrative areas. In tandem, mechanical and plumbing systems are being staged for installation, setting the stage for critical infrastructure like HVAC, compressed air, and water lines to follow. Outside, site utility work is progressing with sewer, stormwater, and electrical connections being finalized.
This new facility represents a major expansion of Satellite’s truck production capabilities, designed to streamline assembly processes and increase output across our full lineup. Interior framing is underway to define work zones, offices, and equipment bays, while layout prep has started for the installation of overhead cranes and key production machinery. Once operational, the plant will house advanced manufacturing systems and create dozens of skilled jobs for the North Georgia region. With each phase, we move closer to opening a cutting-edge facility that supports Satellite’s growth and innovation for years to come.
With the foundation firmly in place, June brought vertical momentum to the project in Dahlonega. Walls are going up — and with them, the first visible signs of what’s to come.
Concrete walls rising from the ground, signaling the next phase in our journey to redefine truck manufacturing at Satellite Industries. The framework isn’t just supporting a building — it’s supporting the ambitions of a growing community, our commitment to innovation, and the future of mobility infrastructure.
Big things are coming to Dahlonega, Georgia. We’re laying the foundation for a new era in truck manufacturing at Satellite Industries. Follow along as we build more than a facility — we’re building the future; a base for jobs, innovation, and opportunity.
We broke ground. Earth was moved. Concrete was poured. This month marked the true physical beginning — laying the literal and symbolic foundation for the future. The site transformed from a field of promise into a foundation for progress.
